We love "Visine Tears" and use quite a lot of it in our house due to having two contact wearers and all of us being seasonal allergy sufferers. This is a gentle and long lasting solution that brings instant relief to dry eyes.

After purchasing from the drug store for way too much, the price for these artificial tears on Amazon is much more reasonable.

I wear contacts and have dry eyes quite frequently. I purchased Visine because they are a name brand--I don't want to take any risks with my eyes.

I have never had any trouble with these drops in about 8 months of use.

I was in so much pain with my dry eyes I could hardly function. I tried almost every over the counter eye drops I could find and none helped for more than a few seconds. The eye doctor finally gave me Lotemax, a prescription steroid. It gave me relief. The only problems were that it cannot be used for the long term and it's very expensive. The doctor wanted me to take Restasis. I tried it and it made my eyes worse. Finally a wonderful, knowledgeable woman in the supplement department at our Sprouts market recommended Similasan Dry Eye Relief drops. I was desperate and would have tried anything. I was thrilled that these drops gave me relief and I've been able to stop using the steroid. Thankfully, I can avoid Big Pharma now. I'm very grateful to Similasan.

I started getting dry eyes like 4-5 months ago. I have no idea why I started getting them but I only get them when I first wake up. They are so bad at times that I literally cant even keep my eyes open as it burns really bad trying to keep them open. I had been using Visine and it just didn't work well at all. It did give temporary relief but it didn't last long and it burned quite bad when first applying it. Your not supposed to use Visine more than 4-5 times a day and considering I was using it every 10-15 minutes for the first couple of hours in the morning...well lets just say I knew I needed to look into some different products. Thankfully this is just another case of mother knows best as my mom had been using Similasan Dry Eye Relief for years and even had a couple spare bottles for me to try out.

I buy these for my husband, who after lasik surgery got really dry eyes. With these drops he keeps his eye dryeness at bay without having to use the other chemical based drops. My eyes sometimes feel sort of dry and scratchy either from allergies or the dryer air-conditioned air in my home. Needless to say, it seems I can not help but rub them. Unfortunately, that causes my eyes to get really red and bloodshot looking. Often I find that I have actually rubbed an eyelash or bit of cat fur into my eye - ouch! (I have four beautiful cats but they constantly seem to be shedding. LOL) Visine comes to the Rescue. It just takes a drop and my eyes instantly feel and look much better! This product gives me immediate relief and is very easy to carry with me in my purse or pocket, too.

I have always used Visine products- normally I use Visine Advanced Relief, but I think now, I will be using Visine Maximum Redness Relief instead, especially during allergy season. It will help, not only with redness, but also with dry eyes. I find that it helps with the feeling of eye strain as well.

Makes my eyes feel great and last a long time- even longer than the Advanced Relief (I have been happy with the Advanced Relief- no complaints about it- but I do like this better). A product like this is easy to use once you learn the knack of getting the drops into your eye. As the drops touch the eyeball, relief is immediate. I experienced no side effects from using it,

If you like Visine products I think you will be even happier with this and is well worth it to give it a try.

The drops give your eyes a refreshed feeling and do somewhat help in removing redness. A few drops and you are good to go, and it fits easy into your pocket or carry on for traveling. Great for helping fend off the stale air on an airplane or after cutting the grass and getting dust and debris in your eyes. Really stops the burning and itching.
